About this Consultation

Christchurch Borough Council has received an application from Eco Sustainable Solutions Ltd for an Environmental Permit to operate Schedule 13A Small Waste Incineration Plant (SWIP). The application has been made under The Environmental Permitting (England & Wales) Regulations 2010 (as amended). The application has been duly made to Christchurch Borough Council on 9th December 2016.

The Council is required to consult the public on the application in accordance with the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 and the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (as amended).

If the application for a Permit is approved, the process will be subject to a number of detailed conditions as set out in the statutory guidance and which are designed to control emissions to the atmosphere from the site.
