Have you ever wanted to speak up about a health or social care service in your local area and not known how? It might have been to offer an opinion on how things could be improved, or talk about an experience, good or bad. Well, now you have the opportunity.
LINks (Local Involvement Networks) are an independent network of organisations and individuals representing the views of local people. They will allow everyone to have a say in how health and social care services are planned, developed and implemented. Anyone can get involved, and it has been set up to make sure that people in your area get the health and social services they need.
We want to hear about your experiences of health and social services and your ideas for improvement or changes. You can get involved in a way that suits you. You do not have to join a committee or commit lots of time in order to be involved in LINks. It can be as easy as giving the LINks your comments by phone, freepost, email or via the 'makes a change' website discussions page.
LINks will not work without you!
Help and Care has been appointed the Host Organisation for the LINks in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset.
This is an ongoing initiative so please continue to contribute your comments and ideas.
